All the Chinese acupuncture points and the courses of meridians are located and approved by renowned acupuncturist and institue of China. Each point is labeled with Chinese characters and explained in the included English and Chinese manual.

    The meridian acupoints and their locations

    <1> The lung meridian of hand-taiyin (LU)
    LU1. Chungfu
    In the lateral part of the 1st intercostals space. Near the coracoid process, 6 cun lateral to the midline of the chest.
    LU2. Yunmen
    In the infraclavicular fossa. 6 cun lateral to the milline of the chest.
    LU3. Tienfu
    3 cun below the anterior axillary fold at the lateral border of the biceps brachii muscle.
    LU4. Hsiapai
    One cun below Tienfu at the lateral border of the biceps brachii muscle.
    LU5. Chihtse
    At the elbow crease, on the radial side of the tendon of the biceps brachii muscle.
    LU6, Kungtsui
    7 cun above Taiyuan (the distance from Taiyuan to Chihtse is 12 cun).
    LU7. Leihchueh
    1.5 cun above the most distal transverse vrease of the wrist, above the styloid process of the radirs.
    LU8. Chingchu
    One cun above the transverse vrease of the wrist(Taiyuan), on the lateral border of the radial artery.
    LU9. Taiyuan
    On the most distal transverse crease of the wrist, on the lateral border of the radial artery.
    LU10. Yuchi
    On the palmar surfacer at the middle of the first metacarpal bone, at the junction of the red and white skin.
    LU11. Shaoshang
    About 0.1 cun behind the vallum unguis on the radial side of the thumb.

    <2> The large interstine meridian of hand Yangming (LI)
    LI1. Shangyang
    About 0.1 cun behind the corner of the vallum unguis on the radial side of the index finger.
    LI2. Erhchien
    On the dorsum of the hand, at the radial side of the distal end of the index finger.
    LI3. Sanchien
    On the dorsum of the hand, at the radial side of the proximal part of the second metacarpal bone, the fist being lightly closed.
    LI4. Hoku
    Over the dorsum of the hand, between the first and second metacarpal bones on the protuberasnce of the muscle on the radial side, in the middle of the second metacarpal bone.
    LI5. Yanghsi
    Over the wrist joint, in the depression between the tendons of the extensor pollicis brevis muscle and extensor pollicis longus muscle.
    LI6. Pienli
    3 cun above Yanghsi ( The distance from Yanghsi to Chuchih is 12 cun).
    LI7. Wenliu
    5 cun above Yanghsi.
    LI8. Hsialien
    4 cun below Chuchih.
    LI9. Shanglien
    3 cun below Chuchih.
    LI10. Shousanli
    2 cun below chuchih.
    LI11. Chuchih
    At the external end of the elbow transverse crease, when the elbow is flexed.
    LI12. Chouliao
    One cun above the external part of Chuchih, beside the humerus.
    LI13. Shouwuli
    3 cun above Chuchih.
    LI14. Pinao
    7 cun above Chuchih, at the insertion of the deltoid muscle.
    LI15. Chienyu
    At the antero-inferior part of the acromion, where a depression is formed when the arm is raised.
    LI16. Cnuku
    At the depression detween the acromial end of the clavicle and the upper part of the spine of the scapula.
    LI17. Tienting
    Above the supraclavicular fossa at the posterior margin of the sternocleidomastoid muscle and between the midpoint of Neck-Futu and the sternal end of clavicle.
    LI18. Neck-Futu
    3 cun laterally from the middle of the laryngeal prominence, just between the two heads of the sternocleidomastoid muscle.
    LI19. Mouth-Holiao
    0.5 cun by the side of shuikon below the lateral margin of the nostril.
    LI20. Yinghsiang
    0.5 cun from the midpoint of the outer side of the alamasi, in the nasolabial sulcus.

    <3> The stomach Meridian of Foot-Yangming (ST)
    ST1. Chengchi
    In between the eyeball and the inferior border of orbit, with the eyes looking straight ahead.
    ST2. Szupai
    At the depression over the infra-orbital foramen.

    <4> The Spleen Meridian Of Foot-Taiyin (SP)
    SP1. Yinpai
    About 0.1 cun behind the corner of the vallum unguis at te medial side of the big toe.
    SP2. Tatu
    On the medial side of the proximal end of the proximal phalange of the big toe, at the junction of the red and white skin.

    <5> The Heart Meridian Of Hand-Shaoyin (HT)
    HT1. Chichuan
    Tip of the armpit, on the medial side of the axillary artery.
    HT2. Chinling
    3 cun above Shaohai.

    <6> The Small Intestine Meridian Of Hand-Taiyang (SI)
    SI1. Shaotse
    About 0.1 cun proximal to the corner of the vallum unguis on the ulnar side of the little finger.
    SI2. Chienku
    On the ulnar side of the metacarpophalangeal jount of the little finger.

    <7> The Urinary Bladder Meridian Of Foot-Taiyang (BL)
    BL1. Chingming
    About 0.1 cun superior to the inner canthus.
    BL2. Cheanchu
    At the medial end of the eyebrow.

    <8> The Kindney Meridian Of Foot-Shaoyin (KI)
    KI1. Yungchuan
    One-third the distance from the center to the front of the sole, in the depression which is present when the toes are flexed.
    KI2. Janku
    In the depression on the inferior border of the tuberosity of the navicular bone, at the junction of the red and white skin.

    <9> The Pericardium Meridian Of Hand-Jueyin (PC)
    PC1. Tienchih
    One cun lateral to the nipple, over the 4th intercostals space.
    PC2. Tienchuan
    2 cun below the end of the anterior axilla between the two heads of the biceps trachii muscle.

    <10> The Sanjiao Meridian Of Hand-Shaoyang (SJ)
    SJ1. Kuanchung
    About 0.1 cun from the corner of the vallum unguis on the ulnar side of the ring finger.
    SJ2. Yeman
    In the web at the junction of the red and white skin, between the ring finger and little finger.

    <11> The Call Bladder Meridian Of Foot-Shaoyang (GB)
    GB1. Tungtzuliao
    0.5 cun lateral to the external canthus.
    GB2. Tinghu
    On the posterior margin of the condydloid process of the mandible, in front of the incisura intertragicia, where a depression is formed when the mouth is wide open.

    <12> The Liver Meridian Of Foot-Jueyin (LR)
    LR1. Tatun
    On the lateral side of the distal phalange of the big toe, 0.1 cun posterior to the corner of the vallum unguis.
    LR2. Hsingchien
    Behind the margin of the wed of the big toe and the second toe.

    <13> The Du Merdian (DU)
    DU1. Changchiang
    At between the tip of the coccyx and the anus.
    DU2. Yaoshu
    In the middle of the sacral hiatus.

    <14> The Ren Meridian (RN)
    RN1. Huiyin
    Midway between the anus and the scrotum or posterior commissure of vulva.(Not shown on the model)
    RN2. Chuku
    5 cun below the umbilicus.

    The Extraodinary Acupoints and Their Locations
    1. Head and Neck (HN)
      Ex-HN1 Szushenchung
      1 cun in front, behind, left, and right of the point Paihui. There are 4 points at all.
      Ex-HN2 Dangyang
      1 cun within the natural line of the hair, directly above the pupil. While the patient looking straight ahead.
    2. Chest and Abdomen(CA)
      Ex-CA1 Chihgong
      3 cun lateral to the point Chungchi(Not shown in man)
    3. Back(B)
      Ex-B1 Dingchuan
      0.5 cun lateral to the point Tachui.
      Ex-B2 Chiachi
      0.5 cun beside the lower border of each spinous process from the 1st thoracic vertebra to the 5th lumbar vertebra. One point at each lift and right side of the vertebra. There are 34 points altoghether.
    4. Upper Extremities(UE)
      Ex-UE1 Zhouchien
      At the apex of the uluar olecranon.
      Ex-UE2 Erhpai
      4 cun above the palmar transverse crease of the wrist, at the both side of the tendon of flexor carpi radialis muscle. One point is at the ulnar side of the tendon and the other one is at the radial side of the tendon.
    5. Lower Extremities(LE)
      Ex-LE1 Kuangu
      1.5 cun bilateral to the point Liangchin each side has two points and both have four points at all.
      Ex-LE2 Hoting
      In the depression of the middle of the upper border of the patella.
