Chinese Made Easy adopts a new approach to teaching Chinese as a second/foreign language. It is designed for young students taking GCSE/IGCSE Mandarin Chinese Exams (UK), SAT II Chinese Test (USA), and Australian Mandarin exams, or for those students who are starting to learn Chinese on their own.
Chinese Made Easy is a three-level course for learners who have little knowledge of Chinese. The complete series consists of three textbooks with workbooks and CDs. After completing this series, learners can reach an intermediate level with a vocabulary of approximately 900 Chinese characters and several thousand Chinese phrases. The topics for each level are:
