Dayan Qigong
, literally meaning 'Wild Goose Breathing Exercise', is a set of very healthy exercises. Imitating the postures and movements of the wild goose and assimilating the ancient daoyin methods, it consists of both vigorous and gentle movements in which motion is alternated with stillness. By stimulating a strong sensation of qi, it provides an effective cure for disease. The first 64 forms of the exercise take only 5-10 minutes to complete. Although the movements are numerous, they are easy to learn and may be practised either as a whole or part by part.
