The Original Boxing Tree of Traditional Shaolin Kung Fu

Shaolin Xiao Hong Quan is a routine of basic technique of Shaolin boxing. It is a required course to the beginners of shaolin boxing, called "the mother of eighteen boxing". This routine show how to place feet together, bow step, horse-riding stance, squat step and empty step, which contains all the general stances of all the shaolin boxing. Hand forms include palm, fist and claw and so on; hand techniques consist of pushing, japing, pressing, hacking, brushing, blocking, upper-cutting, grasping, and many more. Fist techniques cover punching, chopping, upper-cutting, hammering, and so on. Kicks are slapping, side kick, hook kick, and others. XiaoHong quan also include how to turn, shrink your bodies during boxing. As far as your eyes, this boxing is to show how to star, gaze, glance, and glare.

All of these techniques are combined your hands, fists, feets, body and eyes. This is a systematical skills on how to defense, and to attack.
